The Château’s wine estate goes back to Roman times. Mineral-rich land and a Mediterranean climate have left their marks on our wine, the tradition of which was perpetuated to such an extent by the Saporta family that it became one of the symbols of the region. We therefore owe the creation of the Roy René “Brotherhood of Cupbearers,” who promoted Les Côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, to Louis de Saporta.
Rich in Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOC and Bouches du Rhône IGP, the Fonscolombe vineyards produce three different colors of wine with fine and fruity noses. Our Merlot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon plots are cultivated without synthetic chemicals, allowing for our reds, whites, and rosés to benefit from the “Organic Wine” label.
